My interest in photography started when I was still in high school. In my professional career at Apple and other companies, I developed strong leadership in the emerging digital camera technology field in the early and mid 1990's, resulting in 154 patents. However, I did not anticipate digital technology surpassing film as early as it did. My first quality digital camera came in 2003, a Canon 10D, later upgraded to a 20D. I finally got tired of lugging around a backpack full of lenses and camera equipment, so I sold my Canon outfit, and after much study, selected the Sony NEX-5N as my next camera in 2011. I have been amazed at the quality of the images from that camera.
My interest has mainly been in nature photography. I hope you enjoy my work!
